Q: Do You Accept Walk-In Appointments? A: No, appointments are made online through the website only. We do not accept appointments via phone, social media, or walk ins. Q: Do You Wash Hair? A: No, we do not offer wash services. We ask that you come with your hair washed, blown out, and free of heavy oils. Natural/non blow dried hair is accepted. Q: What Services Do You Offer? A: Our skilled braid technicians specialize in cornrows, crochet braids, boho braids, gypsy/bora bora braids, stitch braids, and knotless braids. Whether you want to book a braid appointment or start a braid class, we're here to bring your vision to life. Q: What Type Of Braiding Hair Do You Use? A: Xpressions Braiding Hair Q: What If I Don't See the Style I Would Like? A: Feel free to contact us or send a message attached with a picture of your natural hair state and an inspiration picture. We will let you know if we can accommodate your request or suggest something to fit your needs! Q: Do I Need To Buy Hair For My Braid Appointment? A: It depends on your hair style; if you are booking for knotless braids, hair will be provided for you in colors 1, 2, 4, 27, 30, 613, 350, orange, purple, red, light pink, and hot pink. Please contact us directly for specific color requests. If you are booking crochet braids/locs/twists, hair will not be provided. Q: How Long Does A Braid Appointment Take? A: The duration of a braiding appointment can vary depending on the desired parting size, hair length, and other individual factors. Please keep in mind your appointment could be shorter or longer than our estimate. Q: Can I Bring A Guest? A: If you are scheduling for a child under 18, you are welcome to stay with your child as a guest. If you are over 18, we ask tat you do not bring children or an additional guest. Q: Is There A Deposit For My Braid Appointment? A: Yes, there is a minimum deposit of $20-$300, based on your service, due when booking your appointment. The deposit will go towards the balance of your booked service. Deposits are non refundable.

Q: How Do I Enroll Into The Next Braiding Class? A: Scroll down to the 'Braiding Classes in Columbus Ohio' section on the home page and select the class you may be interested in. Please read the class description before enrolling. Q: Do I Need A Braiding License In Ohio? A: In the state of Ohio, a Braiding License or Cosmetology License is required to provide professional services. Check your state regulations if you reside out of Ohio. Q: What Is The Braiding License Course? A: The course is to prepare you to be a licensed braid professional. We cover hands on braiding techniques, business management strategies and ways to help grow your clientele. You will receive the documentation necessary for you to apply for a braiding license with the Ohio Board of Cosmetology. Use your license to work independently in a Salon Suite, or along side other stylists in a Salon. Q: What's the Difference Between the Advanced Braiding License Course and the 6 Week Course? A: The Advanced License Course is an online class for those who feel confident in their braiding abilities but require the formal training to become licensed. The 6 week course is for those who need hands on braid training to maximize their ability to succeed in the braiding tier of cosmetology. Q: Do I get My Braiding License During Class? A: No. The only entity that can process licensing is the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology. At the completion of class you will receive a notarized certificate from Columbus Braiding Co that verifies you've completed the formal training necessary to apply for your braiding license. It can take up to 1 week to receive your license from the Board of Cosmetology. Q: I Am A Beginner- Advanced Braider and I Need Help Improving. What Can You Do? A: Both beginner and advanced classes are targeted around your specific goals. All students are guaranteed improvements by the end of class. Some may require 2 sessions for best results. Q: How Old Do I Have to Be to Enroll In Braiding Classes? A: 13 for 1 on 1 sessions, 16 and have completed 10th grade education for the Braiding License Course.
